I'm working on a 3d environment project. This is the current WIP.

The areas with painted lines are assets that I'm reworking / remodeling.

Besides showing my progress I was hoping to get some information. I want to use UE4 to get some stylized renders, but I have no idea where to start when it comes to setting up shader networks. If anyone has any resources or information, I would truly appreciate it. Any info would be fine, since I haven't even begun to do any beauty renders yet.

These renders were done in Arnold, (since that's the render I know how to use as of right now).

Wow I must have been really tired last night I completely forgot to upload my images.

Here are 4 color passes where I applied gradient maps to a 3d render of a room environment I'm working on.

I'm going for a Visual Novel / Anime Background look.

Basically I'm trying to use 3d software to make a 2d hand painted background.
I'm using UE4 as my render engine so I'm going to be doing some research on how to set up my shader networks and lighting, but any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also here's a paintover done in photoshop.

The areas with painted lines are sections I'll either need to rework with some more modeling or certain things that haven't been modeled out yet.

If I'm giving too much or not enough info please let me know.
