Hi there! I like your idea and the colors you're using in this piece 
It looks to me like you've got the basic idea of the lighting right, especially in the face. What's making it look off is some missing highlights and shadows, mostly around the hands and torso like you said. Here's a quick and dirty paintover to show what I mean...
Basically, the light's going to hit the undersides of her fingers the most, but the rest of her hands would be dark and cast a shadow onto her body. Her skirt would also fall into shadow as it curves away from the light source. Her midsection would be well-lit since the rose is right next to it.
For funsies, I also added a teal rim light and adjusted some of Belle's anatomy (with the liquify tool in Photoshop).
