Halfway summary
(This is a personal landmark kinda thing where I am going to be analyzing where I am at, trying to be objective)
Overall, if I was tested right now on these, I would place myself at
Figure basics 70%
Photoshop I 60%
Perspective 50%
So, still failing photoshop and perspective.
Photoshop as a tool for drawing I dont really use half of the photomanipulation tools and don’t know if I would immediately remember them at this point too easily. Color balance curves etc, I feel are very experimental and I dont feel too confident using yet, as for the other photomanipulation stuff idk. Liquify is useful, same as lasso tools.
Figure I feel pretty confident drawing lines of action, skellies and basic proportions (though this last one kinda hit or miss on presentation). I feel much more confident doing gestures as an exercise (even though proportions sometimes go out the window) and should do some more figures from reference with a little more time
Perspective… still need to do the assignments. For some reason I feel stuck thinking of adding details or creating indoor scenarios, especially if I am using a specific perspective guideline. I think I have a good grasp of the concepts, but the execution is really a pain at the moment and I end up avoiding it a bit XD
I think 4 months is a realistic amount of time for these terms from my perspective, so I am going to set the 19th of january as the end date to see if I “pass” all subjects and let myself move on to term 2
End of recap
Cheers
