Hello! Nice to meet all of you. I'm Sydney, and I've been a chronic doodler all my life. I've taken some art classes in person before, but this was years ago. I've never understood digital art programs, and I've been struggling to learn them since like.... 2010? (I could NOT figure out how to get 'good' line art.) I don't know if I'm like the only one or if I'm just impatient with myself, but I've decided to GET GUD! So, I'm starting this diary-notebook-thingy so that I can track my process and not quit.

This is in CSP. I was trying to figure out how clipping worked. Still dont really have any clue. But the brushes are fun!
I don't really know anatomy. Just symbols of stuff.

These last two are in Krita. I love Krita's brush engine. It's the closest I've gotten to feeling like I'm using charcoal or a pencil... but I need to pick a program and I'm gonna use CSP! BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT!

Thank you for reading!

I love this style! In which school did you learn drawing? Or you did it by yourself. I often use this source http://essaypapers.reviews/ to get help with some of my writing tasks to get more time for art

I just did it by myself. This is like me just doodling for years and years.

Doing some of the homework. The cylinder's over photos wasn't hard, I think I just picked bad photos (clothing hid too much of the figure).

I think with the middle two I kinda confused myself, so for the last one I just tried to understand which cylinder was facing me and which wasn't.

Hey, Syd!

I struggle with the same issues you commented on, it's not just you haha. Learning is not that easy!
Your line art looks good, and I like your anime style!

Assignments 1-4. I haven't done this kind of thing in a VERY LONG TIME LOL. My brain hurts

I was busy all day. Started gesture drawing. They're all over the place...

Was busy these last few days, but I was able to get these done.

Missed yesterday! Sorry! Gonna do another one later today.

Did this over two days. I was in agony LOL.

More perspective. I'm gonna do less of these, with more of a focus on cutting out shapes.

A noodle in between learning.

Love the style of your heads, they are so originals !
