Hey guys, here're a couple more pieces of portraits. I swear there'll be full color illustrations eventually.
@malcom Yeah definitely some good ideas for polish on her. Ideally I'd do few color comps and figure all the stuff out ahead of time, but since it was initially a doodle I didn't do too much thinking ahead of time.

really love these, especially the last one. I think the back design is really complex compared to the front but when I think about this character being in a 3rd action game, I think it's fine. The details are interesting.
Quick question, how long do you spend working on these? I also really like the girl with the curly hair an metal arm. Keep up the good work. Loving the sketches.

@malcom So something like the character with the curly hair is about 30-45min, same with the girl on the bike-thing. The rest of these are characters that I've revisited a couple of times so anywhere between 2-3hrs for full body, (I just crop to show the interesting bits xD) The last one is something I'm working on for an animated short. I ended up over-complicating the back, so that's something that I'll be toning down on the next pass.

interesting. I feel like it was a repeat question but cool to know. It's a good thing you go back to some because you tend to add really nice bits to make an overall cool image/designs. An animated short sounds interesting. If you can share I would love to check it out. Look forward to an update. She's an interesting character.

If you don't mind some feedback. I recommend working on the back view of the top character(solara) some more. I feel like the flap in the back doesn't match well with the overall design. I think the top armor on the back view looks a lot better. It flows a lot better than the previous. You really did an awesome job toning the back view design elements while making sure it still looks cool. This is just my feedback. I don't think what you have at all is bad or anything.
The cross face character is awesome Love the little design elements. The tribal like lines on the head look really interesting and cool.
The priestess is coming along nicely. Loving the color palette here. If I'm not mistaken it used to be red, white and gold. I think the purple works better.
Keep up the good work bro. Look forward to more.

It's really nice to see some more finished work fom you. The priestess looks simply gorgeous.

I'm also liking the Cross-face character a lot. I wouldn't mind seeing her in colors too
