Wanted to check on this old blog of mine and update it with a few studies. I’m working on my design process theses days but I’m making a lot of progress so I can’t wait to post some of that stuff!

First study is based on a baroque sculpture and the second study is based on a sculpt by Arsen asyrankulov

wow, it says my last reply was 518 days ago. Crazy how fast time flies by. I'm working on a one shot comic rn and it's giving me grief but I've learned a ton and hope to take it forward to my next one once I'm finished. I might upload a page here once it's completed in full. Anyways I want to dust the cobwebs off a little with some minor side things I found the energy or excuse to make. Here's an Abbott Thayer Anderson study and a rough keyframe concept from one of my worlds. These were made at completely different times but the commonality is just having some fun/putting mileage in.

This is an Oc portrait I did; She's a pirate, but this actually started out a me fiddling with brushes and random shapes. Funny what comes out of stream of conscious but I feel like once you have an idea of what something could be, you add on features to make it more like said thing.

only had like 10 hours to work on this, but it was for a csp contest. Theme was Moon and Stars. I came up with a character/world idea and might come back to the universe later. I prefer people guess at what it's about for now, rather than tell them what I had in mind with these characters.
