Day 11: Transport, Solar Witch.
Really like the concept of this one, just wish I had made it bigger so I could get more detail in the character. Also the perspective is a bit off thanks to her hand placements.
Day 12: Worried Candy Witch.
Took some of the clothing stuff I learned from the lolita witch. I think this comes off more as baker rather than candy which is unfortunate, as I think that overlaps a future prompt. Oh well. I'm surprised at how much better my hatching has got, the trick was keeping the strokes short, lifting off the paper right after each stroke to avoid flicks and scribble, and to make the lines follow the contours of the form rather than just 2D.
13: Scared Pixie Sprite.
I really didn't like this one when I finished it, but it's not that bad now I'm looking at it again. I had a good under-drawing all set up but then I thought I'd use the brush pen again. I still don't have good control over it so messed up the far arm, and hair/flower crown doesn't have as much detail as I'd like. Plus I made mistakes trying things in ink on the face, and messed up the mouth enough that I had to cover it up. Lesson learned: If I want to change something from my sketch work it out in another sketch first.
Day 14: Tree, Space Witch.
Well I actually completely forgot about the tree or else I would have made her float a little bonsai, but these 2 didn't really go together so I sort of discarded the less interesting part subconciously to try get an interesting concept out. This is my best one yet I think, the foreshortening on the hands doesn't look completely terrible, I like the idea of using broomstick for propulsion, and I really like the face. Could do with more witchy decoration though, her spacesuit is pretty plain. Still, less is more as they sometimes say.
