Finished assignment for week 1 (Uploaded latest pen-practice); going from traditional to digital is weird.!
Self-evaluating on 2_image adjustment 1 and 4, I had issues with saturation in general:
for the color dots, they were generally off the most in the chroma,
and for the life of me, I couldn't find the balance of the last image - either the sky is too blue or the whole image too desaturated; Somehow I think I ended up with minimizing both issues to the best of my abilities - but any input here would be great..!

Welcome! Good to see you here! Regarding that last color correction assignment, I can relate. I had to use all the color correction tools in the assignment, but strategically. Like, get one thing right before work on the next - but I think I restarted four or five times and it's still not exactly where I want it to be. A good challenge.

Here goes for week 2!
I'm using CSP and had hard time finding the healing tools and etc. from Photoshop, so I skipped the digital exercises and just played around with the selection tool instead.

I also think I missed a point with coloring of the skeletons, but we are only human

Otherwise I think getting used to the digital medium is just hard - the 10 exercises for week 3 seems really helpful.!

Best,
Thomas

Hey there looking good so far!

Hi,

First of all, thank you so much for all the encouragement!!! You're all so nice!!! <3

Here goes for week 3:
I figured that with the 30-50min timelimit on my daily sessions I can only manage to choose between warmup-exercises or the actual drawing-exercises (which is kind of stupid...) So I did roughly a week of warmups and a week of copying 5 characters.
Nevertheless, I can feel the 10 exercises helping on hand to eye-coordination (I used to think this digital was sooo difficult even to draw a simple square).!

Best,
Thomas

Hi all,

Here's homework for week 4.!
I underestimated the time it takes to draw boxes, so I only did one field of view every day.!

Hope all is well!
Thomas
