Trying to develop my style

Sup guys gonna post my sketches and drawings here. I developped a habbit of polishing my work too much and working for too long on single pieces, so I'll try to break that
Here's what I'm working on right now, hope nudity is ok on here lol

I explored to figure out what the horns would look like in my sketch book then itered a bit more in photoshop directly

So I was sketching around in my sketchbook and I came up with something I liked so sketched it in photoshop and explored a bunch of possibilities for it

It's more of a ''just for fun'' thing

It suddenly became pretty dark when I rendered it lol
I guess that's what happens when your reference is a bunch of rotting guts (which i'm not gonna link for obvious reasons)

Did a quick fix of her face, proportions felt wrong

Looked at it yesterday and realized that a few things could be improved such as face proportions. I need to take this as a lesson to always use guides to place elements

I realized that the waist didn't make sense as it was angled in a way that was contradictory to the leg she was putting her weight on. I also wanted to have the hips and shoulder line oppose each other for more dynamism so two birds one stone!
Also i'm thinking of giving her a white bush cause why not

I started rendering the girl's head to give myself an idea how I want the whole thing to look and I gotta say, if I manage to keep that aesthetic throughout the whole piece I'll be very happy!

I started rendering very lightly, laying down the shadows. Don't wanna go too contrasted just yet, i just wanna figure stuff out.

Don't mind the yellow dude in the corner he's a character i used to draw all the time as a kid and i just drew him there for the lols

Alright, I do believe I've got everything figured out, now I can start rendering

I love this piece and your rendering is looking great! But it seems that you have been working on this piece for a while, and as you want to find your style, I'd suggest you to just do some more scribbles and try to just play around with anatomy, faces etc. It's great if you want this piece as a reference for your style, but I would always suggest you to try multiple things to settle for the stuff you really like and really dislike regarding your taste. Just some advice, you obviously have a lot of skill already, so don't put so much pressure on your style having to be perefect on the getgo!

You are so very right. After this one, i'm planning to practice more technical stuff like anatomy and do studies/style experiments. Smaller projects like the portrait I did that took me a few hours.

I think my biggest problem is that I spend so much time figuring stuff out that I could do a lot quicker if I knew it well (the anatomy for example)

Alright pretty much done, maybe a few adjustments here and there.
For example, the eyebrows being dark work on the girl but i'm not sure it looks right on the balloon as they are a lot more apparent
