Hey I'm back, it's been a while. First sem is over, and I had some time to myself during the Christmas holidays to work on more hair studies. I got the third one done (pictured here), I'll try my hand at shading it but Idk how succesful I will be lol.

Alright I've finished off hair study number 3. I tried a little bit of two tone shading to try and ease into learning that and I can already tell I am gonna have some trouble with this lol.

Hey it's been a while but I have finished the fourth head copy. I am actually pretty happy with this one, I got a ton of help with it from a couple of chads in the discord server who helped me with the shapes of some of the facial features.

I got the 5th head/hair study done, which closes this study. So far I really think I should put some more work into studying the individual facial features when I get the chance, as getting the eyes for this one was a real pain. But now that I'm done, I do think the 4th one went the best, mostly because I got a lot of help with it, and I look forward to what comes next.

Ok I know it has been a hot minute. I have been busy job hunting and finishing up first year at Uni. Idk if it was art block or not, but even when I was free of that psych ward I found myself procrastinating when it came to art. But I was able to get the fantasy creature portrait done, and I have been keeping up with my dailies so far. I will be spending more time working on facial anatomy in term 2 before moving on.

I've been quiet for a little bit because of a shoulder strain (again), but I had been practicing facial anatomy and some personal art using the tomato method Marc went over in his newer video. Honestly, the newer unfinished face compared to the older Knight character I did looks a bit better I think?

Ok it has been a damn while, due to school, mild technical difficulties, and a couple of other things my progress has been absolutely glacial, but tonight I was able to finish this bit of practice I have been working on for a while.

just a piece of fanart I did this morning. Some of the colours really screwed me up because they looked grey and then when I colour picked the reference they were brown. I figured it was because of the shading, and since I have no clue where to start with that (other than just "the basics") I decided to polish this one off and then move on to something new
