'Duel' is a champion on the Fantasy side of the ARTWAR.

At this time I do not have any visual representation of the character to share with you all; however, the name Duel wasn't selected simply because the word means to fight. The name was selected due to it being a homonym. Hopefully you guys will understand the reasoning behind my name selection once I start uploading my designs!

Stay tuned. I hope to at least update with some sketches later tonight.

Thanks guys, as Ive been sketching some things, I think the characters going to end up being a girl, a teenage girl......i mean the whole point of the contest is to create someone dangerous right? lol

This is where I'm at right now, still playing around a lot with proportions, not sure where im going to go just yet. I want the character to be younger - like 15ish or so, but I'm not used to drawing non adults so figuring out how to make the character actually look like a teen is being more tricky than I expected.....I'm already learning more from this contest and it's like day 2 for me.

the movement ads a lot to the character, it gives a huge sense of power because of the strong pose. want to see the final result already

busy busy busy with the holidays, but got a chance to sit down and complete the overall design of the character (the front of her anyway).

Next step will be to work on a costume design. Hoping to have a few completed with in the next week

caught a mild cold...but finally got a chance to sit down and do some work on costume ideas...colors are just there, nothing set in stone

Alright, costume design is locked in...colors....not so sure about, I guess I'll figure that out as I figure out the final composition and how thats going to work

nice design. I'm thinking of either a lavender or turquoise based colour scheme. The two heads make me think of Gemini and astrology, so I think it would be a good path. Keep it up!
