This is what I like to call a "style sketch." I know what subject matter I want to work with (Japanese Fantasy), but I'm trying to find the style, the flare of the character to help give if personality. I'm gonna start trying to work out the details of the design next.

I am trying to find the shapes to the armor. I'm trying to work out the shapes of the design. There are certain elements I know I want, but I'm still uncertain about the end result.

I've given up all of the month of January to other things and haven't worked on this design much. In the past week, I've been able to work out the shapes of the face and outfit.
