Haven't been posting for a long time, I'm almost done with the turnaround, I laid in the flat colors. The idea behind the wings is that when she captures souls (you can see silhouettes in the flames), she can use those to make the flames more powerful an so I sketched out the general shapes ( don't worry I will make it look like fire). Now I will get rid of the messy lines and render as fast as I can, will probably cell shade the back view

Yeah you're back! Nice progress!
Keep it up like that and you'll finish in time!
One advice, don't fully render the concept sheet and keep it cell shaded , this way you'll more time to work on the illustration

I'll take your advice but I not sure how it will work out for the front view because it has a lot of messy lines so I was thinking about rendering the front but not too detailed or will paint over some lines to cell shade which ever works best

You can always refined a bit the part where you feel it's needed, but it's fine they won't zoom in deeply to see where it's messy don't worry
And remember the most important thing about what we do (it helped me a lot) "Finished, not perfect" It's better to finish your piece than spending an eternity on it to try to make it perfect

Souls in the wing is a neat idea, good luck with the rendering!
I agree with @rgdraw about the concept sheet. You will probably modify your character a bit while doing the illustration and report those enhancements on the character sheet.

I had something urgent to deal with and couldn't work on the illustration. Now I have to use a quick comp I made just to be on time. Not gonna include almost any background

Because of personal problems I had to take on, I will not be able to finish the final illustration However, I will finish it at my pace sometime. I had a blast working on this and I hope to see everyone next time. Good luck everyone!
