Silhouettes! Trying to find some interesting shapes. Going to do some sketches of a few of these. Let me know which one's you like!

Couple of sketch pages for a couple of the silhouettes. So far these 2 silhouettes are working the best for me, but I plan on doing more sketches with a couple of the others as well.
I struggle with character design a lot and am trying to get better at it, so any kind of feedback is much appreciated!

Having a hard time deciding which one to go with (I think both would be fun to do an illustration for), so I combined them. Which ever one I choose will probably still go through some minor changes, but what do you guys think? Going to move into color studies next!

I like the spider wings. Flying hands are cool as well, but maybe not going along with the way she infects people with nightmares?

I think the flying hands are really cool. In your concept sheet and silhouette 2, they were hovering over the character which i think is perfect to evoke nightmare, like an oppressing weight over the victim. It fits the superpower, those Morphean boulder paralyze you/lock you down.

Though i think you're going to have to make a choice between the wings or the hands, having both will probably lessen the impact of both, they'll compete for attention, which would be a disservice to your concept

I keep on staring at the sketch of handsy with and without the poncho and trying to decide on which is the better choice. The no poncho has the benefit of showing off more anatomy skills and has that base line carnal appeal that can be so useful, but the poncho version really hits the shapes well and seems to be a more balanced design more pleasant to the eyes.

Maybe introducing more of that upward pointing triangle into the version without the poncho would help out. The poncho version really has a lot of flow.

Combining both @niezniezgov and @PeterH suggestions, agree with both you! Instead of doing the full poncho I went somewhere in the middle to hopefully nail down more of the shape. Didn't include the hands since they take up so much space, but whatever colors I move ahead with I plan on making them whatever the dominant color is.
I still might change some minor things with the design, but its time to kick it it into gear and make some decisions! Lol

Also thank you @seekula for your suggestion with the spider wings, they would be really cool too and it was hard to choose between the two

Between the holidays and work, I've lost a few days working on this. Gotta kick it into gear if I'm going to finish in time!
Just worked on the elements for the concept sheet (going to start putting that together now) and thumbnails for the illustration. Normally I'd spend a bit more time on those thumbs, but for times sake I just filled in the basic shapes. Hopefully they're readable enough!

I think 2 and 4 are the most interesting ones for the thumbnails. I am enjoying the rendering you are doing as well.
