These are really cool, I like the loose painterly style that you have going for these. And the manipulation of the facial features into a creepy helmet is a nice touch.

I'd say Version 2 is the best, agreable colours combination and it has stylized yet credible proportions. Hope you'll stick to the painterly style till the end.
