So, I'm finally back after 3 weeks away from the computer due to christmas, new year, and sickness
But I'll give it my best the next couple of days and have it finished by the deadline!
I have been playing around with a lot of different color schemes, in the end I settled on matching the blue spiders colors as much as I could.
I also did some facial morph targeting, which plays really nicely in toolbag, so hopefully I'll have some extra time to set it up for the final toolbag viewer version.
So this is where I am so far, I'll have to spend the weekend on creating a better pose, background elements, optimizing the skinning and textures, and then finally compositing
The total tri count is around 35k, currently using a 2k map for the body.
I will bump that up to a 4k texture for the final image for some nice details.
