Further work on my character design, homing in on a more elegant design. Initially I wanted to pursue a character bound by her captors, and went for a straight jacket theme. But being that my character can turn her limbs to water, it made little sense since she could just flow out of any restraint. So I went with something a little more ethereal.
Hoping to get some more facial details worked out today.
Interesting silhouette design. The two top-middle iterations and the skull-face in the bottom left corner catch my eye.
Can't wait to see how she'll look in the illustration. ^^

Nice thought, keep the red swimsuit of the right and the silhouette from the left?
in my mind, idk how well red works, but my niece has "fighting fish", they call them idk what their real names are and the nicest one she has is a deep blood red/black/purple type of blend so if you want colors i'd look at fish's or any various forms of living things in the ocean, some amazing color combinations that might help.
But entirely red color to me feels like fire instead of water, if i start dwelling on it.
