I take the water side, my idea for Galatea is to make her a Sea Witch that can control water and crabs critters

I start with the idea to make a Nereide water spirit and it evolved on a Scylla Sea witch who can manipulate water for make defensive shields , throw water bullets and slice enemyes with high pressure water cutters, also she have a little cute crab pet as compagnion and can command giant abyssal crabs on war for defend her Sea

I really like the retro anime style you have going on in the large bust. It gives me leiji matsumoto vibes
I also think the design overall would benefit from a much more simplified way of defining the chest. Its like, they're both nearly perfect circles so it creates an odd focal point @_@. I'd merely just keep the silhouette and erase the delineation between them

I want to start the year drawing and posting this update , here my final idea for the look of my character, i like to stay clean with lines, i want to make a battle scene when she counter a fire spell with some water shield with an army of giant crabs advance on battle 
, also i post the actual timelapse with my sketching progress since this image!

omg , finally i have some time for finish the entry with ease, for noticed that end in 20 hours..., i was convinced the deadline was the 20th of this mounth! My bad, i hope to finish on the next hours something valid
