First time to enter this contest :).

I will be focussing on Earth.

Thank you! Doing it for the fun :).

I was wondering however how I can show my process.
Should I just update this entry over and over (and thus overwrite the older images) or is there another way?

You just keep posting updates here so people can see how you progressed along the way. Don't edit out old images in older post with new ones.

Started on the natural moss elements:

As well as darkening the contrast and textures and adding dust:

Details and lighting will be the next steps :smile:

Playing with different forms of cold and warm lighting:

Now I have to decide on the lighting and how to incorporate the earth emblem :wink:

This will be my final image!

I chose to integrate the earth emblem as a symbol for her magic (as opposed to being carved out in the rocks in the back e.g.) as this is what fuels her powers.
