The Scorched One is a fanatic worshiper of fire, that wields blades coated in lamp oil in order to bring burning Death upon his foes.
My goal with this entry is to create a character inspired by the Darksouls games.

I like to start doing some consulting in 2d in order to first figure out what to do, but also to flesh out the character to help my decision making in the future. Hope you enjoy my early scribbles.
After some consulting from a friend, I decided to go with the hooded guy.
I thought the proportions were a bit too "cartoony" and I also wanted to explore some more poses that that would give me a bit more of a "Darksouls" feel.
I made a "finished" linedrawing, going into more detail.
Then I slapped on some basic colours and added some reference images instead of rendering in order to save some time.
