First time in this comp. I have a general idea in my head of where I'd like to take this, but need to start fleshing some things out.

After giving it some thought, I decided I'd like to do some kind of sci-fi version of an Aztec eagle warrior guy. I think I'd like to try my hand at doing something a little more stylized, which is a little out of my wheelhouse, but should be a fun challenge.

Spent some time fleshing out his body type and roughing in some shapes. Trying to figure out my major forms. I'm not sure if the feathers on the head piece are going to stay feathers or become wires or tendrils of some kind, but either way I'm almost certain I'm going to use cards for them, so at the moment its really just to help me visualize where I wanna go.

The blocking out process looks really good so far! Can't wait to watch the progression.

Spent some time refining his head/helmet and face region. Still a ways to go, but I'm liking progress so far.

So I really want to give this guy a cyborg/robot arm. I've spent some time working on that and I think I'm happy with the direction its headed. I really want some smaller details here to give it a 'techie' vibe, and I think I'm accomplishing that so far.
