Hola, I'm Justin Merritt, an aspiring Freelance Artist. My goal this semester is all about spreading what I can do and what I know so I'm starting with a little of the thumbnails I did. A lot of the focus was on me refining the character's facial and outfit because, as per the usual, I'm all about adding a taste of culture in things.

This is where I high light the true beauty in my character and show a more 'maternal' look. I was afraid she was going to look too young to have as big a title as 'the mother of the house of twilight' but I'm feeling confident that I'm slowly heading into the right direction. Deadline closing in!

These are my different poses. I'm probably going to push something that makes her a central focus. I have a tendency to want me clouds or my scenery to pull towards the character so I'm leaning towards her being a big part of the frame with her sunset staff being right above her face. (Sticky notes showing references).
