This is my first art war. I'm studying art creation for video games and I'm on winter break so I'm doing this as a project to learn Zbrush and get more experience doing characters!

3D and 2D references that I'm using a a basis for what I want Krom to look and feel like.

Here's an initial sketch of him. I'm currently getting his body and armor figured out in 2D before I start blocking it out in 3D.

Ok super rough blockout sketch but it does the job. I pulled a lot of inspiration from Azog the Defiler, General Raam, Thanos, Atriox and Doomsday to make Krom. Warmonger Krom is the faction leader of the Razorbacks, one of two factions for an FPS game a few friends and I are creating for fun.

Looks awesome.
Maybe a bit too much like Doomsday, might want to be careful. Would be a shame to miss out on an fantastic fighter because of copyright stuff.
If suggestions are welcome, might i suggest trying gladiator armor on him? Especially the asymmetrical version with a shoulder guard would looks absolutely astounding on him.
