Progress on hair study. Definitely don't know what I'm doing. Tried to follow a "basic shape" approach to the shading, but didn't like it that much. Will likely take a step back and try again.

It's decided. After this I'm going back to basics.

After a long haul due to work and routine being completely out of whack, decided to come back to basics. I've established a routine where I'll study portraits, mannequins (and in both exploring shapes, forms, construction), and finally starting the baby steps on digital painting.

I've currently just started Term 2 and was feeling very hopeless about myself, but your progress gives me so much hope! It's really nice to see other people trying to learn together, you're very inspiring! :smile:

Looking back, I definitely feel I had some good progress over these 2 years of ArtSchool.
Still lots and lots to learn tho, so let's keep going 💪
