Hello!
My name is Eric, I'm 28 years old and I live in Spain, Manresa.

Since I was little I have always drawn a lot, and after studying illustration and graphic design, I have continued drawing as a hobby. I have always considered that I had not studied and practiced the basics enough, and since I discovered Marc, I have constantly devoured his YouTube videos.

This Christmas I took advantage of the discount on the artschool course to get it, and little by little review all those elements that I believe are very important to make coherent and professional art! My little problem is English, I can read and listen to it without problems, but writing and speaking it is more difficult for me, so in part I am forcing myself to try to post my progress, to also improve my level of English.

I apologize in advance, if at any time I express myself poorly, I will try to do my best!

I have a full-time job, my progress through the course may be slow, but it is something that I begin with an incredible desire to absorb all the knowledge possible, see you soon!

Hello!

I have found some time to watch the first videos and do the first practices, although they are tools that I use daily, reviewing the most basic things has made me realize that there is always some tool that escapes me.

When I started studying digital art, they would have taught me all the tools so well!

I don't know if this is the correct way to publish the progress through the course in my own post, if not, please tell me!

Also, how can I change my name and add a profile photo in the forum? It only lets me change the cubebrush profile!

So, I have returned to the routine with my work as a designer.

I have planned to dedicate at least two days during the week to the course, and both Saturday and Sunday mornings, I will advance little by little, but for now I am loving the classes, I want practice gesture drawings as much as possible, I think I have a lot to improve there, and I would like to be able to draw the "standardized" proportions from memory!

I've spent a while without publishing, work leaves me little time for myself, I've started perspective lessons, here are some of the exercises!

Hello! To take a break from normal classes, I have dedicated a week to making a mini illustration.

References:

The idea was to base on the stylized style of Berserk mixing it with the character of Zoro from One Piece, in one of his last fights he has some very interesting deformed frames. I leave you the sketches and the final result!

Hello! I started the second term, I am really enjoying understanding for the first time why things are the way they are, before this, I did some things correctly by intuition, and other things I realize how wrong I was by coldly analyzing the perspective and shape of the faces, I'm excited to move forward and keep practicing! ^^
