This s a really nice concept! I love especially the details of the armor this seraphim is wearing.

just a quick tip for future artworks: try to make the contrast less pronounced, especially in areas that are not directly being hit by the light source (such as their left arm, which is near the darkest part of the torso; and part of the right arm, wich should be affected by a shadow from the right wing. if you wantI can show you an example of what I mean

overall it's a really good digital painting, keep up the good job c:

Thanks alot man @prode.ettorre.98, yea i have been struggling with values and contrast, it would really help if you would show me an example, i kinda understand that the further away an object is, the less contrast difference it should have.

I'll post how I personally think you could correct your drawing here as soon as I can! in the meantime I'll put here a link that might help you correcting value mistakes: https://youtu.be/ax130yILbw0

Alright man ... thanks alot i will check out that video. Sorry for the trouble

no problem! so, here's your image with a filter I applied on photoshop that simplifies the image so you can see the values more easily

the problem here in my opinion is that the eye doesnt really know where to look, you need to balance all of these very bright spots. since the angel is being hit by a light source on the top left, you can adjust the values to make that more clear:

this way, adding a clear light source and aswell darkening the areas that should be in shadow (like the part of the torso closest to the angel's right wing, the lower part of the armor, the whole left side of the body, especially the arm, and part of the left wing) you can see how it gets more interesting.

there are no extra shiny parts where not needed, and the eye can really figure out how the light is affecting your character's whole body.

I hope this helps >.< of course this is just a suggestion, it's up to you to see if these canges are necessary or not

Ahhh i get it now.... i have too many unecessary parts lighted up which leads the eye all over the place, like her bottom right area, i think i kinda see it now, after u darkened the bottom right area of the character.... thanks alot man for going through so much trouble ... means alot and it definitly helped me see my mistakes...i think i shall do more live drawing to improve on light and shadow techniques, or probably more referencing. Milliom thanka to you @prode.ettorre.98 😁

no problem! glad to hear that i was helpful  good luck with your future drawings!
