Hello I'm back to Art War after the last time I'm half-assing thing. This time topic is so good I can't ignore it. Here to hoping me to finish thing that I started .

I'm team Dark so here's my champion Raguel, nicknamed The Groom Who Dance. He's a tragic and dark character whom specialty is Sword Dancing, dancing elegantly to chop his enemies head off.

He's always carrying his already dead bride, Marcia so he won't be lonely and to make sure someone pay for what they did to them.

I made a progress! Can't really decide which one is cooler

I think the one in the middle is the best! the one on the right is cool but there would be too much red, but the shoulders are interesting so i hope you'll keep that part

progressing to the illustration composition and value! Still got a lot of issue in this one but i really like the flow

Yeah! I really like that one too but the issue is the neck part not showing the transition between skeleton and human part... I'm still thinking going back to the scarf style maybe mess a bit with it.

Just what I intented for the viewer to feel! have i mentioned that the bride lost her entire lower limb? Thanks for the comment

I agree that's gonna be tough, but I'm sure you're gonna figure it out
And no I didn't realize she lost her lower half, I guess it's gonna be hard to make babies now...ok I'm out xD

Concept progression and I'm still stuck in deciding. Lately I've been thinking of redoing the whole concept but within the initial idea. Any comment and critics will be much appreciated !

Thank you I really appreciate your word! I'm just thinking that maybe my character is boring, as for now I'm stuck in exploring which design are cool and which are not. Maybe it is the weapon that's boring, maybe it is hard tor recognize the silhouette, maybe skull head character is too general or anything.

Well, I felt the same few days ago about my character too so I know what you're going through
Your character is really cool, I'm actually a bit jealous that I didn't think about it before you did x) His sword is awesome and the design of the handle is the best part, and about the head, honestly I haven't seen a lot of skullhead that can bleed, so don't worry you can do it!
