I personally think the A+B+D is the best. As I rapped my brain around the options on top, I came to the same conclusion that A+B+D would be best. It fits the overall design of the character. It echos the shape language you establish for the upper body. The legs also have enough detail on them to make them visually interesting while not being distracting.
Quick side note, I like the side cloth being black compared to it being gray. Keep up the good work.
