First attempt at a finished art piece [WIP}

Hi there,

New to digital painting (and art in general).
My normal art style is pixel art but I want to be way more diverse.
Here's my first attempt at something more than a tutorial.
Super inspired by the works of Dave Rapozza.

Nice start! It'd help to understand where you're trying to go with the piece.
One big thing is how the lack of contrast results in a rather flat image. It seems that the eyes are the focal point, so try emphasizing on that specific spot!
