I must say... I could NOT comprehend perspective for all the years I have been an artist. Always wanted to know how to so I could make awesome backgrounds for my animations. Marc said two words and BAM! Totally understood everything.

Mind. Blown.

But anyways, this is my witches lair. I had so much fun coming up with all my potion ingredients :skull: I still feel like something is missing. It may be the walls and the ceiling. Should I make it wood like the flooring? Or maybe when it's colored it will fix it? :no_mouth:

this looks awesome! you can add the deets as you color or add it in the lineart - which ever way works best for you. maybe experiment with two wood planks:
1. add deets via lineart then color
2. leave lineart as is and try coloring + add deets

and see which way u like and then once u pick a method replicate that for the rest of ur floor

That sounds like a good plan, thank you! I was thinking of even doing it at a lighter line weight in fear of it looking to overbearing but idk, it may look really cool!

Damn this looks cool!! If you feel up to it maybe add a bit more detail to the right wall like more dried plants above the fireplace or something since It feels kinda empty or maybe add some wall texture

Thank you! And right? something looks like it's missing. I think I could add some more dried herbs... Maybe some different broomsticks.. or maybe a sleeping black cat on top of the fireplace ! Ill mess with it and add the update, thank you !

Daaaaang, look at that attention to detail!
Very nice job. Did you use some sort of assist to get those lines so straight? They look clean as hell.

Thank you so much! And nooope! that's pure focus and patience right there

TERM 2 PHOTOSHOP FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTION

I am rebranding myself so I took this opportunity to explore that. I wound up choosing the Julia @ Not Dunn Creating logo on the fourth page with the simple skull icon as well as the simplified NDC with the skull. I really like a lavender color scheme but I may need to explore further because I am not 100% satisfied on the color scheme.

2D Monster characters that could be used in a game.

Line weight, shading, color blending and photoshop fence brush creation

Thank you ! I know I have such a lean towards hot pink as well as the lavendar. Too many options to choose from :ok_woman:

Term 3 Clothing Figure Drawing

My first attempt at digital shading/painting and I couldn't be more surprised! I haven't attempted digital painting because of my perfectionism and I have avoided it (2 years) like the plague. I'm proud because after my first one i couldn't believe it came out the way it did. I know I'm on level 1 out of 100 and there is SO much more to learn. I'm excited to see the growth over time!
If you get stuck and paralyzed with perfectionism syndrome like me, just remember:
-You will never know if you can, if you don't try.
-Mistakes are the best way to learn and grow.
-Failure only happens when you give up.
-What if you're really good at it? Or you really love it? Or both!
