Hello!

My name is Lada, I've been drawing on and off for many years, but I know that I'm missing a lot of fundamentals and I'm not very familiar with digital drawing, so I'm excited to start this course to improve!

I've never participated in any forums since I never know what to write, but I started this thread to document my progress and keep me motivated in going through this program. I might go slowly through this course, but I will try to stay consistent.

Please feel free to provide feedback and critique my work. I look forward to learning new skills and improving with everyone!

Here are some assignments I finished. I'm having trouble with pen control digitally, maybe I'm holding the pen wrong but I can't make smooth lines. I'm using the Wacom Bamboo tablet, so I'm not drawing directly on the screen which makes it harder for me.

For Image Adjustments, I could not make the last two similar enough. In the last one I only did one layer of each adjustments, I will probably try it again later with more layers.

Welcome aboard

looking good so far

Looks pretty good, so far. Don't worry about the last one. It's pretty close. I think I've only seen one person get it almost perfect.

That's good to hear! I had to restart several times, feels like when I fix one thing, another gets messed up

Finished the rest of the image assignments

For combining I mostly struggled with shadow for the horse, it doesn't really look right.

Finally got to working on cylinders and poses. I changed how I was drawing the poses as I was working on them on different days, so they're not very consistent. I struggled the most with bending/foreshortening parts and heads. I also think some of the starting position of upper leg parts are incorrect.
