This is a nice study. It has nice contrast, ample tonal range and i feel the negative space between the horse and figure plays an important role in the balance. It gives enough room for each to breathe and is judt a little slanted a little dynamic. The tree kind of frames the subjects and makes it more comfy to look at and the ridge line successfully avoids being a tangent
I also always enjoy seeing the strong pose of the horseโs legs and how it graphically transmits the weight to the ground. Not too sure of the horseโs ear and the hand details
Cheers!
