Hey hey hey, kicking off an artblog here I'm an illustrator from Ireland - trying to get my start in illustrating for games. Working on getting to the next stage with my rendering atm - open up the door for those jobs that need a more rendered style.

clean lines and shading. very polished work, but still you still retain rhythm.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with where my line work is. It's my comfortable warm art-blanket. Trying to move beyond the line at the moment, which I expect is going to hurt for a while

And cheers, I was happy with that piece. It was for a card game project I was working on that unfortunately never came together.

I really like your current style. Especially your clean lines, I always struggle to get my lines even remotely clean. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Ooo really nice stuff here! I really love the line work you have! Do you have any tips of how to do line work? I'd really love to learn a lot more

@derkodos Cheers! I'm a big fan of clean line work, so I've worked a lot on it
@nickkhoo Thanks I'm recording the process of doing the line work for this current commission, I'll post that with commentary when I'm done with the lines for it. Though, I forgot to record for a half hour there, hopefully I haven't missed anything important.

Finally back from a few days away, got time to work on the commission. This is the rough sketch. Feet and hands need some serious lovin, but it's enough to get sign off from the commissioner. Next stage is the refined lines and anatomy.

Heheh, the guy is meant to be a cheeky scamp - so that is very intentional Though, I might play it down a little bit
