Project name - Dilemma

Backstory-
"I've seen the end of the world in all its glory. And oh how beautiful it was. The fire.. It's all on fire..
(High powered rifle on lap). Got the power of God in my hands and all the skill in the world.
I could intervene, even make a differences, but there's something peaceful watching it burn. (Hot smoke fills my lungs as I take another puff)
Maybe it should even.

Created this piece using mixed media (2D painting, 3D modelling, Photo bashing).
Really trying to step his piece up so it may be part of my portfolio. Any feed back as to where it maybe be improved or how i may proceed would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

First of all interesting premise and the background is captivating!
About the design you need to address a few things that I noticed. I can't offer more feedback because the image is very small and thus hard to read. If you post a bigger image I might have more to say. Anyway:
1) There is a frame that is most visible on the top corner. What's it's purpose? Is it a window? Then add reflections. Is it a hologram? Add numbers or floating text. Is it a dream? make the corners more organic etc. Either way you should add visual cues to help the viewer get a clearer impression.
2) Your character needs more polish (needs better rendering) and more accurate anatomy. It looks like his body is split into pieces. You can see that in his ankle and behind his knee. Study anatomy and paint over these parts to make them smoother. Also his hips seem to be placed lower than they should be. Also the character seems to be in some sort of apartment. Maybe add a texture to where he is sitting. His right leg doesn't have to be fully drawn but you have to imply it, like you did with his left thigh.
3) You should study composition to better lead the viewer's eye. For example your character's left arm has a great position because he essentially points back at the center of the image. That's great. But his leg also points to the bottom left. I would add a gradient that goes darker toward the bottom to prevent the viewer's eye from wandering there.
