Hello,
I'm Shoe and I've been an art student for way too long.
I took classes all through high school before spending 2 years studying Animation but struggled to keep up with amount of work and ended up dropping out

I love to draw, but have recently been lost and haven't really felt much improvement at all over the past 10 years or so
but someday I'd really like to publish my own webcomics
practice and study were concepts I sort of missed picking up in school, so maintaining good habits is probably my biggest challenge

I wish I had anything of a portfolio to show off, but recently had a pretty major computer crash and... Lost mostly everything \o/
So i'm taking this as an opportunity to try and go back to basics and start fresh. Please bear with me

Welcome to the forums Shoe! Hopefully you are taking steps to back up your work moving forward! I'm a bit paranoid about it so I end up backing stuff on google drive as well as an external drive and a secondary local drive. Can't be too careful I guess!

Never a time like the present! It seems there are several of us who like to do webcomics xD

Welcome! Sorry to hear that about your computer. That's one of my biggest fears.

I felt that on a personal level. I've also been in art school studying and I took a year off before before coming back. It's definitely tough trying to figure out where to improve when there's so much to work on! Regardless, I can't wait to see your work in the future!! :DD
