I don't think there are any good tutorials on this matter, but, I think you should watch other showreels you think are nice and copy that. Another thing you can do is to reach out to your favorite artist and have them comment on your work. Some artist, if they have the time, don't mind looking at your work and giving some feedback. I recommend the first option though. Try making one on your own and then get feedback from there.
