Finished the pen control exercises. It was good practice since I've been trying to get into the habit of drawing from the shoulder instead of the wrist. I really struggled with the pressure control exercises, I couldn't get the pen to change smoothly from one level of pressure to the next. I'm beginning to worry something's wrong with my tablet pen, it's probably just my lack of experience, but I don't know how to tell.

oh yeh those are so hard i try do them everyday now

Yeah, I should probably use them as a warmup.

Since I want to focus on drawing and painting, I skipped the composite images and went to the figure drawing class and assignments.

I started with simple poses without much foreshortening for my first figure drawing assignments, and once I'm confident with those I'll move on to more dynamic poses.

TBH, I'm really unhappy with the last pose, it's hard to tell what's going on from the skeleton, but looking back I don't think it was a good pose to begin with, the silhouette is not very readable.

For the other ones, I was amazed how much information a simple skeleton like this can covey.

You did a good job with these assignments biotic. Can't wait to try these assignments myself!
