So I have found the new ipad pro ... the large one forget the exact size. With pencil and the program procreate to be just fantastic for on the go digital work. There are of course obvious drawbacks, and it sure doesn't replace Photoshop for formatting or desktop work. But its a great couch/bar drawing option.
Compared with the paper texture of a wacom system I feel like you do loose some control on lines and circles, but gain a bit when it comes to small detailed movements. Anyways here the extended line exercise that I believe Ardeey put together that I fired out to mainly to show the gradients.
Oh and that reminds me, I have yet to find a pen that does "super light touch" as well as the ipad and pencil setup, even beats the nicest of wacom, which is kinda shocking. the jpeg compression looses just a little bit of the lightest tones that you can still see in procreate, but I don't want to be posting anything higher than this.
