It's been 18 months since I last posted here and almost as long since I've worked on this course. In that time I started learning software engineering, landed my first software job, and moved halfway across the country.

But I am back now.

It's taking a bit to get back into things after not doing anything art related beyond a couple of quick pieces for so long. It's kinda like the art part of me is stiff from underuse.

This time, I'm going to actually finish this course.

This last week, I quickly went back through what I had already done as a recap and started daily gesture drawing, proportions, and full pose drawing practice.

Welcome back! Nice to hear you landed a job in a field that i presume you enjoy.
Gestures are great for warming up stiff art parts I hope youll soon get back in to the groove and show us some of your progress

Today I started on perspective with finding the horizon and converging lines:

And simple shapes in 1 point perspective:

Tomorrow I plan on doing 2-point perspective shapes and maybe start on the room in perspective

I had a lot of fun today doing the 2 point perspective and the room. I would say it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.

Today I decided to add shading to my room perspective drawing cause why not and started Term 2 with Visual Communication 2, but there isn't anything to show from that.

I realized I had missed the 2 point perspective assignment so today I went back and drew a tavern in 2 point perspective. This is what I have produced:

Didn't have time to do anything over the weekend. Today I started Anatomy 1 and did some of the basic practices. I plan to do a lot more of these, but I don't know how many I will show.

Nice work so far! Love to see these studies. Keep up those constructions they continue to get better! Love to see the warping and bending shapes in perspective. Keep up the good work!

Nice work! Keep it up with these studies. This is a tough one to execute for sure since the lighting is so blown out it can be hard to get a good read on the values. Keep up the great work!

I haven't posted in a little bit since I am currently having PC issues. It will probably be a bit longer before I can post progress again.
