This project was rather fun as it was interesting to see how easily features on a portrait can be changed. Photoshop (and other tools like it) can be very powerful in the art world. I'm quite glad we are being taught how to use these awesome tools!

The liquify tool definitely is not my favourite tool to use but I think I made a good effort at trying to get this alien to look as much as this person as possible.

Today I watched the human proportions section of nude figure drawing in term 1. I drew this by hand while following along. I hope to do a few more of these sheets to perfect my proportions. Please share any tip or tricks that helped you when first starting off!

This is the piece that I have been working on recently. This is my submission for ART WAR 5. I choose to make an Inuit archer and her furry companion to defend Canada in the Art War. Please let me know what you think, I am quite proud of this piece! It was definitely outside my comfort zone.

Oh wow, it's been forever since I last heard the name "Camilla d’Errico". I remember she used to have really cute Chibi characters. Is that still the case. Yours turned out really nice.

great stuff! any reason she has a broken crown? from what I saw I didn't see the crown being broken. seems like a cool part of the story there.

No reason, her crown doesn't actually go completely around her head in her official artwork.
