Brief for my idea: Something different, creatures of the deep going up to save the world? something with an individual feeling and something with comical affect.

Just a bit of background: Im a games design and art student currently in my second year of study, my course is primarily theory work however i enjoy dabbling in concept art in my spare time.

I really like the idea of something ridiculous for my character, having the obvious theme being followed however a completely ridiculous and strange character to break out of the very stereotypical run I've been seeing of 'heros'

some initial sketches of possibilities for them
as you can probably tell i've gone Sci-Fi for them, exploring the possibility of a fish that really doesn't want to be out of the water (but is due to some experiment to see if they could get fish to walk using bio-mechanical pieces) i really like the idea of him being grumpily shoved into a suit after being enlarged

hes probably a goldfish, just for comical affect!

working on a few more ideas, looking at mech suits and ideas of how the fish would look inside the suit!
