sorta abandoned this thread because I was swamped with work for a while, but there's still some time left to wrap this up! Working on the final illustration. Couldnt make the previous thumb work, so I whipped up something new.

FINAL ENTRY FOR ART WAR

Ymmekine Umber, the Saffraan mercenary. She was feared for her martial prowess and spice recipes, which lie at the heart of combat for every Saffraan merc. Knowing how to cook the magical spices in a potent brew that grants superhuman powers could mean life or death when traveling the Spice Roads. Merchants paid their protectors good wages, and the mercs protected against thornbeasts, bandits and elementals attacking the caravaans. Ymmekine tries to hoard all her spices, dreaming to be a merchant herself one day, bartering and trading spices. But eating and hoarding your wages requires a careful balance, one she seems difficult to keep with her brash nature, heavily depending on her spice brews. She already lost an eye and an arm, and there are only so many limbs you can lose before the Road will take you and swallow you forever...
