Some ideas on how his powers could manifest. I amused myself by giving them names.
1.First up is a defensive one, "Cloud of Sorrow" creates feelings of sorrow and confusion to whoever it engulfs.
2."Heartache" He manifests the darkness within his soul, trapping his victims by blocking their path and impaling them.
3."Consume Memories" Consumes the victim's good memories and replaces them with bitterness and hatred.
4."Enslavement" Entraps the victim in a delirious state forcing it to relieve all the pain it has experienced.
Just some ideas to envision better what he could do. At first the idea was to use the tainted lotus sap to reform his body into tar - like weapons.. maybe I ll revisit that idea later on for now I felt like it was going away from the main idea which was him being able to control emotions. Hope you dig it

The art is very clean, the fact you included many attacks make it awesome as well.
It is nice how the face makes him show no emotion, but if you look closely Evenos looks that he is hiding pain.
I particularly like Cloud of Sorrow and Consume Memories!
