Hi all so i'll be joining the side of heroes. I figured I better get the posts rolling now.
I love the retro and golden age comic book superheroes and really like the idea of the use of gadgets and general heightened ability gained through training to dish out justice. So with the golden age sort of in mind I'm not going over the top with powers and all that jazz but more of a heightened skill ability and that old school gadget use.
The Little Leaguer
- The character is going to be a kid between the ages of 13-16
- Female
- Sweet, timid girl on pitch.
- Off the pitch a heroic and confident badass dishing out justice.
- She has a knack for tinkering but also the heightened skill of accuracy similar to Bullseye from daredevil series.
- She's going to be a soft ball/baseball player who uses her tinkering ability to make different types of baseballs with effects. Smoke, grenade, spike, gas etc. A baseball bat that opens with a grappling hook mechanism and a baseball metal catchers mitt (mainly for visuals) but to also act practically so she can pitch herself difficult to hold baseballs i.e. spike and flame.
- Pet pug or pot bellied pig (not sure yet) named Spog has a little harness that carries extra balls (if i have time)
Visuals: Girl (not sure on actual name if she needs one, maybe alice?)
- typical old school baseball jersey
- pigtails
- larger baseball cap
- Smaller compact catching mit, made of a flexible alloy or strong leather material
- use: pitching herself difficult to touch balls, Spiked, flame, electricity etc. (might have other use, up for ideas)
- the frilled out baseball shorts, knee pads (or a mix of lightweave flexi-steel armoring or spandex type getup, still in review)
Spog:
- Smaller Umpire helmet hat
- to look real bulge eyed and derpy
- carries a harness that has several balls attached similar to a utility belt
- just happy to be there.
