Ok, here we go with the first post... hi everyone!
For this first entry, I'm going to concept Otto, a geometrician corrupted by the Book of the Ashes.
A lot of magic and geometric shapes, with a sip of CORRUPTIOOOOOON!! explosions
I have this idea of a VERY skinny magician elder, fighting with a greatsword that can be used as a compas for summoning... bad stuffs...

Some Work In Progress from yesterday and today!!!

Here was the first concept i've thought in my sketchbook... a powerfull grandpa.
I realized the Dragon Priests in Skyrim and Shan-Thung in the Quest of the Time Bird, by Loisel could be a good source of inspiration.

NOT DEAD!!!! Yet...
Christmas almost got me, and I will not talk about New Years Eve...

ANYWAY after a long journey in the important but boring world of retopology, Uvs and baking, here i come.
It has been two years or so since my last handpainted character, so i decided to do one...
After a short test with the baking light of substance painter for the metal, I began with the head...

I am not yet sure about the blueish skin, I will maybe desaturate it a little...

I'm gonna put more WIP from now on, so stay tuned

Next step: the clothes!!!
There will be a lot of geometric shapes and emissive above it, so I want to put a neutral feeling on the clothes.

For the next week, i need to do the sword and texturing the book, stay tuned!!

Some WIP from yesterday!!
I tweaked the texture of the head and i started putting the mesh on marmoset, for judging of the final render.

the eye needs some rework tho...

Texturing of the sword nearly finished!
I am really proud of my bronze material! Thanks to the Baked Light filter in substance painter, the rendering is wonderfull.
