cool stuff, for the trousers you could try marvelous designer, just for fun and learning, would give some nice wrinkles since it's so loose cloth

Thanks. Actually I wasn't planning on using marvelous. At this step I was still figuring out what kind of clothes would look nice. Here are the latest blocking, with a fast try with marvelous designer. The fold in th center look weird, but i may adjust that later.

Today's update with detail on the armor and the leather belt. The pant look better, but need somme additionnal folds and decoration.

It's been a hard week end for this design. my first intention was to have multiple sword of different style: claymore, rapier, katana etc... But the more i worked on it, and the less I liked the idea. Having the sword side by side, was too hard to unify in a good art style. So i went for only one type of blade, a lighter one, arranged in some kind of dress.

Yes it's actually a workflow problem. I modeled the sword in 3Ds max which is easier for me to produce hard edge object. But the topology isn't even enough to sculpt over. I will add some engraving later (probably the same kind as the armor) in substance painter.

First look at the finalized low poly. There shouldn't be more difference in the final version, except for the hair that could use a few more card. UV are done too, the texturing process will now begin.

All the cage and bake are now clean, here is an Iray render with the default material of substance painter :

New update, still working on the texture, in substance painter. the blade still need detailling, and her top could use something more, not sure what yet. Is anyone got tips or trick in making gemstone? i could use that.
