I feel like the main issues with this is the perspective as well as values and contrast. The perspective of link does not look like it fits in the perspective of the photo base, it looks like he is a bit above the ground level of the beach.
Also really try to think about what you want the focal points to be and construct your image after that, both in composition and also in value + contrast. If you squint your eyes the main parts that stick out are link, the trees and the clouds, there is not much attention to the mountain and egg.
My advice would be to keep practicing perspective as well as doing studies of landscape photos and turn them black and white and really study how the values work and change with atmospheric perspective in the distance.
