Quick important question so that I can try to give solid recommendations, what is the point of the contest? Illustration, design, story? And do you have any limitations such as full-body, certain size or aspect ratio?
Arche.misu's comments on contrast are valid, I think upping the contrast is a very good idea.
If its general illustration, her left arm is too short, the hand would only come down to about her groin, it should hit about halfway down the thigh. If you want it to be raised towards the viewer it needs work on the perspective, same if it is going off behind her.
I believe the right eye is too high on the face, flip the canvas and check that it looks right to you both ways.
The perspective on her could use some work, your buildings place the viewers eye around breast high, so we should see more of the underside of her face and more of the top of her boots. Maybe draw a grid out for her based on the buildings and the horizon line. You don't have to do this of course, but it really does make an image stand out.
Keep at it!
