Wonder Woman WIP

Hello!

This is what I have at this moment:

I have been working on this Wonder Woman pin-up and I had to stop for a bit. I liked the lineart just fine, but I am not sure about the solid blacks and I am not too happy about the colours.
(By the way, I say pin-up to pictures that are not necessarily sexy and I use the term to refer to pictures that feature only one character sort of posing for the camera as opposed to a more story-telling illustration.)

I am trying to mimic this sort of American (superhero) comic style, so the rendering of the colours should be minimmal, but it doesn't look right to me.
Currently I am attempting to redo the colours traditionally, using markers, and I like that slightly better, but I am still working on that.

Also, I need to figure out what to do with the background...

Any tips on this way of rendering? Feedback on anything else? I already watched some of TheBoxOfficeArtist's videos on Youtube for inspiration for this piece...

For the line art I believe you could possibly work on the ratio of black and whites of the image. Theres really heavy blacks in 3 areas of the drawing being the boots, shirt and the hair. I suggesting adding the blacks/inks in more to others as well while not over doing it. Areas such as the top and the muscles. Even the gold parts. More cross hatching within the shadows can help the look as well. This is a cool drawing man. The look of it is awesome. Keep up the good work.
