Think there are parts of benefit from all 3, the lighting from A, the body position from B and the placement of the victim from C.
Perhaps if you used most of C, redirected her head to the lower left as you have in B, and then place a future victim in that lower left corner, that would give you a more complete story to what is going on in this illustration.
